Who are we?
We are an American foreign educational center with an international Montessori curriculum, which encourages autonomy, critical thinking and experience-based learning. In a multilingual environment and in contact with nature, children develop their full potential through a personalized, respectful and community-based education.
Where are we?
We are located on Monte Artxanda, next to the Funicular, 3 minutes from the centre of Bilbao. Our surroundings offer recreational and sports spaces, such as parks, a skating rink and a sports centre with a swimming pool. This location combines accessibility, nature and sport, enriching the educational experience.
Pedagogical model
At Montessori Gran Bilbao we offer an innovative and personalized education, based on the Montessori method and accredited as an American foreign center. With a focus on autonomy, critical thinking and multilingualism, we prepare each child for a globalized world. At our school, learning transcends the classroom. We have prepared environments designed for each stage of development and outdoor spaces that enrich the educational experience: courtyards, a vegetable garden, a library, community parks and access to the Artxanda sports centre.
